After successive failures using cheap lids, I followed recommendations to use Forjars, although they cost more. I have found they have a far higher success rate, with only an occasional failure which is possibly caused by me not leaving enough headspace at times

I can a lot. Lately even more known name brands of lids are not keeping a seal for very long. The lids are cheap. These are not, no broken seals yet

I’ve only been canning a little over a year now, but once I used the four jars I’ll never use any others! They are thicker, heavier than what comes standard when you purchase new jars. They look great, fit perfectly, and I’ve yet to have a seal fail. I’m quite pleased and will forever be a fan as long as the quality remains.

These work brilliantly with Ball and Kilner style canning jars. I have a good seal rate with them when pressure canning, and the price is very reasonable compared to other brands in the UK. It’s a few months now since I purchased these and some of the jars I first canned are still sealed. I’d buy them again!
