I got this inflatable flotation vest for my partner to use when we go snorkelling in Cyprus. We are both fairly strong swimmers but normally use swim tow bag/float when snorkelling in deeper open water, especially at the underwater sculpture park.This flotation vest is made from a strong material and feels well designed. It folds up relatively compacted, for easy transportation in a bag/suitcase, and is inflated by pressing down the top of the tuba and blowing in it.The main zip is made from a strong plastic (as opposed to metal) so shouldn’t corrode from sea/salt water, but care should be taken when zipping it up as it came undone from the bottom on the first attempt at doing up!There is also a waist buckle clip and a mesh back. There are a couple of leg straps which will need to be worn when in use to prevent the vest from riding up and around your neck when in the water. It feels pretty comfortable when worn (for review) but we haven’t tried it out in the sea yet! They are available in different colours, and I would suggest picking a brighter one if you want to stand out more in the water. We picked a black and yellow one, so as to be less conspicuous!Overall, a good quality flotation vest that will be useful for most casual water sports and activities.

I ordered this inflatable jacket for wakeboarding and it’s exactly what I was hoping for. I got the Black and Yellow jacket as I am a keen fly fisher, and it is ideal for when I am out on lochs fishing.The jacket is lightweight and easy to fold up for storage in the boot of the car.The leg straps are a great idea as they help to keep the jacket in place and not ride up your body like others I’ve had in the past. It also has a good heavy-duty zip and a meshed back so that when the jacket is inflated using the blow up tube, you can float on your back.As an Amazon Vine reviewer, I review and report on each item I receive using a non-partial, non-favouritism method. I found this to be simple and very effective, I like that leg straps are included this really helps stop the vest rising when in water as I found it happens with most other floatation vests. The leg straps simply attach by velcro and then clip onto the bottom of the vest.The zip is large and very easy to use just like on a traditional vest. Whilst this one is different as it can be folded small and would be perfect to take away traveling especially to save room. To add air is pretty simple and the mouth piece is easy to use. It is a little thin and takes a little while to inflate but it really isn't that bad. The reason for 4* is whilst it's a great idea and works well, I found it not as comfortable as a traditional vest.
