Added another set to the ones I had. There is a problem of battery depletion even if lights are not used. My application was of a short time span so batteries were not a problem.

I use these under shelves on a bookshelf to illuminate shelves dedicated for memorabilia. The light is strong when set at the highest level, and nicely dim at the bottom level. Does a good job of illuminating the whole shelf. The remote is very convenient so you can turn on and off without having to get up. The timer is also nice for when you forget to turn it off if you fall asleep, it will turn itself off in 30 minutes. So far, they haven't fallen off or popped of, so they are quite sturdy. My only complaint which is minor is that I wish they didn't use so many batteries. Would be nice if each one used just one battery, but they need three triple A batteries each, and batteries can be quite expensive, so watch how long you keep it on. batteries are also not included, fyi.
