Het horloge is van prima kwaliteit en de batterijduur van ongeveer 1,5 dag is voldoende.Helaas is het silicone bandje van mindere kwaliteit waardoor na ongeveer 1 maand al de eerste slijtageplekken ontstonden (zie afbeelding)Het horloge zelf heeft geen enkele slijtageplek, dus het bandje vervangen voor een stevigere versie zoals een van metaal zou de oplossing zijn.

After more than 1 year usage, I suggest not to buy it. Old review: Google assistant doesn't work sometimes, says 'didn't understand '. 'OK Google ' not detected. I updated, but the issues remain same. Battery is fine. Wear OS performance is not that I expected.

Horloge bevalt zeer goed. Horloge kan veel met dank aan wear os echter houd de batterij het niet langer dan 1 dag uit. Opladen gaat echter wel snel.

I have bought this smartwatch counting on the brand and the features. But starting from the very first days i encountered some connection problems especially smartphone notifications. Each time I had to disconnect bluetooth or restart the device in order to solve the problem. Finally, after not even a week of usage (only 5 days after I bought it) it stopped working. No screen, no function, no power. I started the return procedures on 28 july 2021. According to the track&trace sytem data, the item is received by the sender (in this case by Amazon as the seller of this item) on 29 july 2021. In the return and refund procedures, it is written that after receiving the return item, the reimbursment is made within 5 days. It is been 16 days (let's say 11 working days) now. No reaction, even an e mail from amazon, has been made. It is really a dissappointment for me.

Batterij duur is echt te triest voor woorden. Alle functionaliteiten aan laten staan kan niet, want dan haal je de avond niet.

Ich habe mir dieses schnieke Schmuckstück zum vor dem Black Friday für 150 Ocken zugelegt. Am Black Friday selbst war es seltsamerweise teurer... Der Schnäppchenjäger in mir musste leicht schmunzeln als ich das gesehen habe.Natürlich, wie soll es auch anders sein, habe ich die Uhr erst gekauft und danach erst Rezensionen gelesen. Dort war größtenteils die Rede von einer absolut miserablen Akkulaufzeit, doch dazu später mehr.Bis dato habe ich die Uhr eingerichtet und auch schon einige Tage damit vollbracht. Die Uhr kommt in einer wirklich schönen Verpackung. Ich habe nie gedacht, dass Plastik so schön sein kann. Da kann sich Renault eine Scheibe von abschneiden.Mein Armband war die Silikonvariante, da ich den Smartwatch-Body in Schwarz haben wollte.Habe mir auch bereits aus dem Zubehör ein passendes schwarzes Edelstahlarmband von Fullmosa geholt, das passt perfekt.Nun aber zur Uhr: das Display sieht sehr gut aus und auch bei der Verarbeitung hat Fossil sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben. Das Display hat in meinem Arbeitsalltag schon die ein oder andere Situation gehabt, die theoretisch einen Kratzer verursachen könnte. Draufgehaucht, rübergewischt, Weg. Mega!Das Einrichten ist schnell und selbsterklärend... Nur muss man zu allererst darauf kommen, dass der Erste Start durch das Andocken der Ladestation erfolgen muss. Steht in der Quick Start Guide.Die Uhrendesigns sind auch sehr vielfältig.Nun aber zur vielmals bemängelten Akkulaufzeit: Ich kann nicht klagen. Meine Uhr hält problemlos einen Tag durch. Na gut, ich habe direkt am Anfang den Akkusparmodus aktiviert, aber dieser scheint sich im Verlauf der Benutzung selbst deaktiviert zu haben. Ich habe es geschafft, 2 Tage mit reger Nutzung und Pulsüberwachung durchzustehen und musste erst am Abend wieder laden. In meinen Augen für eine Smartwatch mit Bluetooth, GPS, WLAN und NFC vollkommen in Ordnung. Wenn man den ganzen Spaß auch noch deaktiviert, kommt man wohl auch auf 3 Tage.Auch für WhatsApp gibt es Unterstützung. So kann man entweder Schnellantworten senden (ja, nein, 😂 (ja, dieser Emoji)) oder auch eine richtige Tastatur aufpoppen lassen, mit der man über die Uhr schreiben kann. Selbst ich mit meinen Wurstfingern kann da problemlos tippern. Echt mega das Ding.Was ich nur schade finde, ist, dass man die Amazon Visa nicht bei Google Pay hinterlegen kann, aber dahingehend brodelt die Gerüchteküche bereits.Ich kanns aus meiner Sicht nur empfehlen!

Devo dire che sta mantenendo le aspettative anche se è stata una giornata di "preparazione". Arrivo da un huawei classic dove materiali e costruzione erano anche lì di primissimo livello rispetto a tutti questi plastconi smartwatch che si vedono in vendita. Sistemo le ultime cose e lo metto in carica, curioso di sapere come reagisce la batteria alle mie sollecitazioni..Aggiornamento utilizzo: il mio utilizzo è costituito da ricezione e interazione notifiche (anche con ok google), ricezione telefonate su fossil in caso di necessità (auto), verifica meteo e poco altro. Non mi interessa nulla sulla salute dato che non ne sento la necessità e non porto il Fossil la notte. Una giornata (dalle 07.15 alle 00.00) lo fa sempre arrivando a fine giornata con un 40/45%, in alcune occasioni sono riuscito a fare 2 gg ma molto molto stiracchiato. Il mio setup è always on attivo e risveglio lo schermo con pulsante fisico, wifi ok, GPS on, ok google attivo con pulsante fisico, schermo alla posizione 4 di luminosità. Gli manca davvero poco per poter gestire 2 gg tranquilli come facevo con il mio vecchio huawei classic (prima generazione) peccato per le 2 giornate ma devo dire che nell'uso quotidiano è una sicurezza. Ottimo dispositivo tenendo conto che ci si può far tutto e che ha una costruzione e qualità dei materiali notevoli. Vince a mani basse anche con chi permette di fare settimane di batteria ma ha un sistema castrato (non permettendoti la risposta alle notifiche) 👍👏👍Nuovo aggiornanmento: sto provando a usarlo con always on spento e riattivare lo schermo con tasto (riattivazione con tocco non mi piace perché ogni 3x2 ti capita di strusciare e si attiva senza senso) e tutto il resto invariato e il primo giro è andato bene, fatto 2 gg dalle 07.30 alle 23.00 circa. Oggi secondo giro di questo utilizzo e sono all'85% (13.32) dopo averlo acceso intorno alle 07.30... C'è la pecca che non hai visibile sempre l'ora (cosa che a me non fa impazzire) vediamo se mi adeguo a questa gestione o no.. Le risposte sono buone vediamo come prosegue...

So in my search for a nice bit of wearable tech I came across this. Reading all the different reviews from tech review magazines to independent reviewers the fossil gen5 was amongst their top 5 for reliability, versatility and style. Impressed I decided to get it myself.What I've found is that it is a great watch, the level of customisation through the app and through setting is wonderful allowing me to have one button for Spotify, one button for Google maps (which you have to install via playstore) and the dial for all the rest of my apps.The dial is responsive and also durable, a couple of times I've knocked the watch while doing heavy lifting and been terrified that I had killed it, and to my surprise it was still in perfect working order. You can use the dial as a scroll wheel through the app store, notes etc.Watch face. The watch face itself is good however in direct sunlight the glare can be annoying so I would definitely recommend getting some anti-glare tempered glass screen protectors to mitigate this issue.Wear OS. The fossil gen5 uses the (slightly outdated) wear OS from Google. This means it comes preinstalled with Google assistant, Google wellness and also access to the Google play store which has a wide variety of apps and even a couple of games specifically for smartwatches (to tide over the tedium of the daily commute)Battery life. This is something I saw other reviewers complain about. Now unknown to the user when you turn it on there are actually "battery modes" available. From normal which can, with average use, drain the battery. To super power saving which would turn it into a wristwatch. However there is a "custom battery" setting which allows you to set which apps you want on in the background, like for example the workouts apps which you may not need daily. This increases your battery life considerably.Additionally I have found that even if I forget to charge it the night before, a quick 10-15 boost charge will easily take it from 20% to 70% battery charge that then lasts me throughout the day.Connectivity issues. If you leave the watch and walk away with your phone, naturally it will disconnect from Bluetooth. However when the watch and phone then come back into reach of each other the watch sometimes will need to be reconnected. This is the same for WiFi, if you leave the WiFi range the watch will disconnect, but then struggles to reconnect when back in the area. It is very minor and only happens occasionally but if you're someone who doesn't want to have to deal with that, there's the warning.Overall I would rate this watch 5/5 and has been one of my favourite purchases of 2021 so far.
