How these manufacturers even buy the very specialized fabrics, the spring steel ring, the zippers and the storage case, then sew them perfectly, then package them, then ship them and make some kind of profit at such a low cost is beyond me.All I can say is that these 5-in-1 type reflectors offer a lot in a compact, inexpensive package.The base unit is a translucent diffuser over the collapsible spring steel ring. Over this is a reversible zippered "case" that has a shiny silver for max reflector fill from long distances (like 20 feet), a shiny gold side for warming. Turn it inside out and a white surface for closer in softer light and a black surface for blocking light become available.Twist the thing into a figure eight and it fits into a round, flat travel case. Only thing missing is ability to identify what's inside and who owns it. A luggage tag or a tape label on the hanging loops solves that.That's a lot for less than $20.

The quality is good and I am happy with the product. They are the perfect size to work outdoors and indoors. It's a bit tricky to save at first, but once you get used to it, it's easier.

Many options in this category. Choose the Fotga based on user reviews. Most very positive. The point of a reflector is to help wrap light around a subject. If it fails to do this regardless of the price, you've wasted your money. Second is the build quality and then price. These don't fail on any of these items. The color values render as I would expect. The build quality is good for a multi disc and the price can't be beat. Appreciate the zipper quality of the bag as with collapsibles, you need to carry them and the bag is kinda important. Not as durable as the rugged Lastolites bags but I'm careful enough in packing, so they should make it though a year of location usage. That brings me to price. If they fail, I can buy another and still be okay.
