Ordered to replace original smaller day-night sensor on porch light. The porch faces North and in winter it is in deeply shaded light. So the lights were staying ON all day. With this larger sensor, the light now works correctly even with reduced daylight or heavy clouds. The sensor is at end of a n adjustable barrel extension, so it can be pointed toward the strongest light. Was easy to wire in place of the old one and now controls several lights on the attached string. However, diameter of original attachment hole on the fixture was too small so the attachment hole needed to be drilled out to fit the new sensor..

It works great but what you should know is it takes a minute or two for the sun to turn the solar switch off.
