The main monopod is very lightweight so connecting the heavier feet is really important, and it is these that provide the stability needed. The instructions are only in Chinese, with poorly printed photos to accompany them - this loses the device a star. Once assembled, it is quite small, and I wouldn't trust my camera on it, I could use it to stabilise an image if I had a bench to put the combination on whilst holding a camera. But this is going to be quite rare.However, I do shoot with fill-in lights as a constant source and this is quite helpful with these, especially when I want a light close to the floor. Such as shooting a model from behind to give a rim effect or in front as a fill. Very specific use for me for use in a studio, but for those circumstances it would go in my bag with props and other specialist lights.
