I came off my bike pretty hard last season wearing this and I believe this seriously protected my ribs. Just get one and save on the hospital bills while looking super cool - the latter is all that matters really.

Wore the FOX R3 chest/back/shoulder protector for three days of trail riding. Very comfortable, never felt it got in the way, or bothersome. While I thankfully didn't get to test how it works in a crash, I did have plenty of rocks bounce off me, which I heard, but never felt. All in all very happy with this product!

Fits nicely, doesn’t add too much volume and doesn’t get you too hot. The system to secure is not that great though but with some slight adjustments it’s pretty good.
