I have a jeep wrangler tj year 2000 (rhd) where the wiper motor had rusted and seized, the replacement from a reputable jeep spares based in the uk was £190.73 + £7.95 shipping so thought I would give this a try at £36.11 delivered in two days from amazon Eu. fitted today and works perfect on all settings. Only thing when I fitted it was the wiper linkage was getting caught on the three supplied fixing bolts and stopping it rotating, now that may have been a problem on mine or the way i fitted it, I cant be sure so I just used some shorter bolts with a flatter head that I had and that worked perfectly. Although it sounds like a bit of mucking about if you are confident to have a go at swapping your motor it will be no problem at all. All in all very cheap and easy fix to a potentially expensive garage fix. Delighted will purchase!!!BTW the new motor isn't supplied with the protective rubber boot that you have on original so just swap it onto new one to help protect it from the elements and water etc

Given the unavailability of a Genuine Jeep replacement part, this "cost effective" solution saved the day. But be assured it is not a top quality pattern part. The shaft is very slightlt too short resulting on the crank hitting the mounting bolts and locking the mechanism. The solution was to remove 4mm from each of the aluminium pedestals and then shortening the mounting bolts to stop them from bottoming out. This moves the end of the shaft through the bracket far enough for the mechanism to turn without jamming.Once installed it worked fine. Except the Park position is slightly on the up stroke.... not the end of the world but just reinforces the "cheapness" of the product
