The Aliver Frankincense Serrata Essential Oil arrived in a film wrapped printed cardboard box - suitable for a gift. In the advert they have blanked out the Aliver brand name but it is what you receive (see photo). The oil (60ml) is contained in a brown glass bottle and arrives with a glass pipette with a plastic top. The BBD is 01/03/28.Frankincense Serrata essential oil, derived from the resin of the Boswellia serrata tree, has been revered for centuries for its therapeutic properties and spiritual significance.Inhaling the aroma of frankincense or applying the oil topically may help reduce stress and anxiety, promoting relaxation and mental clarity. It may also help ease lung congestion and believed to enhance meditation. As an essential oil it must be diluted in a carrier oil before use on the skin.I have used it as an aroma therapy and found it a soothing and grounding aromaThe current price point is £10.00 for 60ml which is very good for an essential oil that it was steam distilled.

This smelled really strong and not very pleasant and I definitely wouldn't have wanted my house to smell of it in my diffuser. The bottle had also leaked in the box when I took it out. I would have preferred it to be organic, which it wasn't. It was a good price for the large bottle you get though.

Having heard so many good things about Frankincense oil and, tried a high end brand natural face cream with this in, I was quick to request this oil to try when it cam available on the Vine programme. No regrets. To be honest, I don't really know what a natural Frankincense oil should smell like but this does smell rich and exotic and is stated to be pure and natural. Manufactured in China. The oil is fine, slightly oily on application but absorbs completely. The oil has multiple uses once mixed as appropriately into serums or other carrier type products to use as room spray, in diffusers, dropped into a bath - all listed on the product page and on the box or amber dropper bottle (you need a magnifying glass for the latter). At £9.99 for 60 ml of a multiple use exotic oil, I think it represents great value.

This really is a premium product that has a good feel to it and is very versatile indeed. It can be used for skincare massage and so on but we use it in our diffusers. Here it offers a wonderful aroma that is relaxing and pleasant around the house. It's quite strong as well so you can add just a few drops and get a lot of value for money from your product.

I love how this mixes so well into oils for massage, a few drops will be enough for a relaxing and nourishing experience. Also excellent for adding to water diffusers to fill your home with exotic fragrance, very high quality and a tiny amount will last ages. There is a dropper inside bottle to measure how much you need each time. Top quality at an affordable price.
