Een geweldig leuke set met veel opties!Makkelijk te bouwen en de handleiding (moet worden gedownload) is volledig en correct. De programma code (downloaden) bevat geen fouten en werkt direct. Alles is bijgeleverd. Alleen de 18650 accu’s moet je zelf aanschaffen (2 stuks totaal circa 12 euro )

Leuke set, goed verzorgd, uitgebreide informatie die er geweldig goed uitziet en duidelijk, maar heeft onhandige batterijen nodig en daarbij ook nog een oplader. Die moet je dus apart aanschaffen en is bij elkaar ook weer een flink bedrag.

Un excellent kit très bien fait, facile à monter et performant (sauf la commande infrarouge, quasi inutilisable). Le prix est intéressant compte tenu du nombre de pièces fournies (dont 2 Arduinos). Le support technique auquel j'ai demandé les schémas électroniques du kit me les a envoyé immédiatement ! Bravo !

El envío llego rápido y sin problemas.El producto viene en una caja, con todos los componentes, perfectamente ordenados e identificados, en varios embalajes y bolsas individuales, así como unas pequeñas herramientas que facilitar el montaje.El código viene muy detallado en el tutorial en formato .pdf, y siguiendo las indicaciones de los diferentes vídeos de Internet, se monta muy fácilmente.Para su correcto funcionamiento, hay que utilizar las versiones de las librerías que acompañan al fichero .zip, que hay que descargarse desde la página oficial, y sustituir aquellas que no se correspondan en el IDE de Arduino.

Although similar in design and form, the Freenove version of a Robot Car is superior in design and execution. I have read other reviews of this kit and offer some insight to consider.The components are of excellent quality and the fit of the build is simple to assemble with a number of cables which only fit (mate) to the proper ports on the control board greatly reducing the possibility of errors. I have purchased other Freenove kits and bought this one due to their excellent manuals and great customer service (which other companies sorely lack).There should be some attention paid to the fact that this is a kit and not a plug-n-play toy so you must bear this in mind and set your expectations accordingly. It is intended to teach some electronics and software basics while producing a great “toy” in the process. You DO NOT need to program to get this car to work! You have the option to just upload a software package called a “sketch” (although you do have the option to make changes to the code as well). Just follow the instructions which explain everything step by step. However, you do need access to a computer to upload software to the control board on the car and to the remote (this is not rocket science but may be a little intimidating to someone who has never done this before). If it is a present for a child make sure that they are at least 12 years old or have an adult to assist with the build and access to a computer with Internet access to download Arduino IDE (a free open-source safe software system used globally).If you encounter any issues, Freenove Customer Support is very responsive and detailed. I had a problem with the Tracking Mode on this Car (the other 2 modes worked great). The IR Sensor Module was not close enough to the ground to work properly. After contacting Freenove’s Customer Support, regarding the Tracking Mode issue, they informed me that new kits will have an improved chassis plate (like the replacement part I received) and the 4WD Robot Car will no longer have this issue. However, if you have an earlier version I suggest that you contact Freenove as I did.” The replacement part made all the difference and the Robot Car is now fully functional.I highly recommend this Robot car and the other Freenove Kits as well.

Compared to other 4wd Arduino robot cars, this is a superior product, with good quality parts, an excellent tutorial and excellent support. It was fun to assemble the kit and I was particularly impressed with the ability to control the car with an RF hand-held controller. A beginner should be able to get all the sketches to work properly. The coding for some of the simpler sketches is explained, but it would be nice if more of the advanced coding were explained in future tutorials. One interesting point is that the 4 motors are prewired and soldered with a plug at the end. This is different to a lot of the other kits on the market, where the buyer has to solder the wires to the motors and then connect to the motor driver (eg L298). As a result, a lot more coding needs to be done to ensure that the car moves in the correct direction. This is clear in sketch 1.1.3, which could have been made a lot simpler if the motors on the left and right side had been wired differently. On the whole, this kit is good value for money, and would provide many hours of entertainment for the buyer.
