I bought a couple of these sensors, the pro and the normal to test it. I had the pro to my garage door which is far from the hub. On the between I had motion se sir also from Frient. It works great! The price is awesome for the quality that we get. Besides, it was really easy to add it to the hub (SmartThings).Great job guys! I am getting fan of Frient! Let’s be Frients?

Prima sensor wel wat groot tov andere merken

Degelijke sensor welke netjes werkt. Enige nadeel is dat de sensor groot en lomp is. Dit komt door de batterijen. Voordeel is dan wel weer dat de sensor lang mee zou moeten gaan op de soort batterijen.

Bzgl. Haltbarkeit der Batterie: Die Tür wird ca. 1 mal pro Tag geöffnet.Ursprünglich nutzte ich diesen Sensor im Smart Horm by Hornbach, doch ich wechselte auf Home Assistant.Ich hatte etwas Probleme ihn in HA einzurichten, doch irgendwie ist es mir gelungen und er wurde als Tür/Fenster-Kontakt erkannt.

Necesitaba un detector de apertura de puertas compatible con Smartthings. Poner la pila, emparejarlo con la app de Smartthings y funcionando! Diseño bonito, materiales de calidad.

Jag har flertal olika typer magnetkontakter till min Home Assistant och jag har tre enheter från Frient, alla tre har varit problematiska från börja, en går inte att uppdatera via OTA, en annan skickar hela tiden meddelanden att den inte ingår i blockeringlistan och den tredje har gått sönder - dvs. den fungerar inte alls. Med tanke på priset så är denna produkt urusel.

I didn't need the instructions for this sensor. Put in the batteries, the light blinks red to show that it's ready to be added. In Smartthings, I just clicked on the '+' button within 'devices' and it was found quickly and added to my devices. In the background a notification popped up to say that Alexa had also added the device with no additional input from me.Installation was a breeze and it is working fine, quickly reporting its open or closed status. The light blinks green when the door is opened or closed.If the battery life is a year or more (9 years claimed), due to the convenience of AAA batteries, I can see myself replacing my 4 other contact sensors with these.No vibration/tamper sensing, but I don't need those sensors, just open or closed, so this does all that I need.This is a day 1 review, but so far, expectations very much exceeded!I hope this was helpful!
