I love Alma and her purity of harmonization and quality of composition. She makes me smile when I watch her and hear her own words about modern theory of composing and how she doesn’t want any ugliness to come from her work. Well, this book has no ugliness in it; it is pure beauty! I bought this for my intermediate level daughter to inspire her. It inspires me! She takes a simple tune and expands it out through variation. All simply done but with big results! I would say this would be a challenge for any budding pianist and a fun book for the virtuoso. I hope pianists everywhere will get this and learn who Alma is! She blesses my soul.

So happy to now be able to play Alma Deutscher's beautiful music.
