I guess if you set your expectations appropriately, you'll be very happy. If you're expecting a mattress, you'll be a bit disappointed. If you're expecting a sleeping mat, you'll be very happy. It takes a bit of time to inflate fully, but once it does, it's nice. It's lightweight, and appears to be pretty robust. Handy to have around the house for visitors at Xmas, and doesn't take up much space when rolled up!

Revised to 3 stars after finding a tear in the top after just a few uses. No reason for it. The mattress was left in the caravan and it developed a T shape tear on the top cover, all by itself. I can't think of any reason other than manufacturing fault. The tear appeared where the top fabric has a slight undulation as all these mattresses do. On inspection the fabric is very thin and seems to me, prone to wear and tear more than other mattresses I've used. Manage to stop the leak by covering with a lot of gaffa tape as the rip is too big for a standard repair it patch. How log that will hold? time will tell.I use this in the caravan as the default reverse settee bed is like a rock.Works very well and is very comfy.However the inflation system is very weird due to the large valve. It is done with the bag it comes in.Basically you have to attach bag to valve, then open other end of bag, let air in and roll it up, thus air is forced into the att. Takes quite a few goes.......I suppose the idea is that you don't need to carry a pump. Yeah, it works, but still a pain in the xxxx and as it's meant to be self inflating.....By the way, as per all these types of matts, this one only does the self bit up to a point.I would have preferred a smaller vale you can just blow into.Am dropping a star due to weird inflation system. Otherwise, Excellent
