This is a review of the Funxee selphie stick tripod 180cm.I'll start by saying I ordered a different model, the Avaspot 71" with fill lights that was about £5 more exensive.And whilst it was quite good I couldn't get the remote to work.I didn't know if it was the remote or something to do with my phones bluetooth, though I'd had no previous problems with my phone connecting to kit in the car etc.So I decided to order 2 different ones, this Funxee 71" and a Huryfox, to see what they were like and if they connected to the phone then I'd keep the best option out of the three.All three have the rotating handle at the top, that you can use for panoramic shots and also to pick it up.It's the type with a push-button in the bottom so a simple click and the legs partially open then you push down on the grey bracket to open them fully.The cross-stays on the feet are metal so the base is reasonably rigid.There's a ¼" thread at the top and a locknut is included to tighten up against a camera if you want to, and it comes with a little carry bag.The remote connected first time to the phone.It is almost identical to the Avaspot, the only differences being the colour scheme of grey not the pinky-red of the Avaspot, I do prefer this one in that regard, it looks much nicer.In the end there were two reasons I chose to keep the Avaspot and return this Funxee.First, I got the option of a 2 year accidental damage warraty through Amazon for £2.99 which I thought might well come in handy.And second, and the real deal-maker was that the Avaspots remote has an important, to me at least, feature.It has 7 buttons, the 4 at the bottom I'll never use as they are for tik-tok/onlide video scrolling.Of the top 3 one has a camera logo, one a video camera logo and one just says 'ok' on it.It's the 'OK' one that matters….when shooting it activates the cameras focusing system.I'm used to having the ability to refocus on my dslrs a split second before I take a shot or start shooting video as I tend not to leave it to the auto-focus system as they get easily confused or activate when you don't want them to, even on the expensive cameras, so this is the reason I've returned the Funxee.But trust me, apart from that focus feature, the colour scheme and the lack of daft video scrolling buttons this Fuxnee is identical in every other way to the Avaspot so if you don't need it and the warranty save a couple of quid and get one of these.They are great selphy tripod thingys.

I have ordered this before and it was stolen. I liked it so much that I reordered one. It is a good investment is you are a small business like me. Easy to carry around, not too heavy and very sturdy. It keeps your phone in place and the remote control features makes it such an easy tool to work with.
