The main body is two pieces welded together, effectively connecting the outer tailpipe to a larger diameter adapter. It has 3 very small welds, they are not evenly spaced so difficult to tell if this would last, I would have expected longer beads or more shorter welds.The outer pipe appears to be stainless steel and is non-magnetic, the outer adapter looks to be a different alloy and is magnetic but not sure why they are not the same material.The three bolts are well made and appear to be stainless steel with nyloc nuts. I would not expect nyloc nuts due to heat in the exhaust melting the plastic, depending on your vehicle this is something to keep in mind.It's a good quality piece of kit, I am just concerned with the longevity due to the absolutely minimal welding.
