Bought it because my old Wolf garden was dying after 10 years of shredding. It works very well, is a little noisier, so I want hearing protection while using it. The black exhaust pipe at the bottom tends to clog up, and the reason is that it contains plastic fins that prevent your hand from reaching the cutting parts when you insert it from below. I took 2 minutes to remove these fins with my multi cutter saw. With this modification it works very well, without it I would say the device is not usable in practice. Of course you must decide youself what to do..ps. Apparently the manufacturers are aware that the exhaust needs to be free of fins etc. but then they provide the shredder with a box that always needs to be attached for it to work. I do not want this since I shred large amounts and do not collect in a bag, I just let it fall where I want it.
