This silicone mat works well as a heatproof mat or under appliances, where its texture ensures things stay put - it is a good size and well constructed. What it doesn't do so well as work as a drainer as there is nowhere for the water to go so it just sits in the grooves.

This drying mat from Gachiwar is a pleasant shade of grey with ridges on both sides.The thick ridges on one side are best at channelling draining water but the mat can be used either side up. The mat feels quite flimsy but adequately thick to do the job well.It can easily be folded in half for storage if necessary. It can also be put in the dishwasher if it needs a thorough clean.The mat fits our sink draining board nicely. We have a modest sized draining rack, which leaves a handy amount of space on the mat beside it for additional smaller items to drain.

This is a nice silicone mat. It is a good size, but quite shallow, so doesn’t work well as a draining mat for us. However, as we don’t have a dishwasher at the moment, we do use it as a pre-washing up space, where we can put the crockery that has been soaking in the bowl before running fresh water. It’s very flexible and easy to wash.

This is a review for the Gachiwar single mat, not the 3pc set. Our new house has no draining board so we need something that we can place pans, etc, after washing. The mat is not that big, it wouldn't hold too much. There is no drainage channel for the water to run into the sink so it would just dribble onto the worktop. It also didn't grip fully to my gloss worktop, I tried both sides and one was better than the other but not enough to hold.As a heatproof mat or non-slip drawer liner this will be useful but it didn't work for the intended purpose of drainer. I shall have to keep looking.

The three sets of silicone mats are very beneficial and useful around the home.They look great with the wavey design, and will function well as they can allow water to filter through while also creating air gaps to allow your dishes too dry.The other benefit with using these silicone mats is they can be used to hold hot plates or pans without damaging your tabletops. They also have a grippy texture which will prevent things from sliding off.Highly recommend.
