My 6-years-old and her best friends love wearing bows. She was very excited when I gave her this Hair Design Case by Galt Toys.Kids can make 4 bows and 4 hairbands. There is also hair chalk, quite easy to use and very easy to wash out.They were very impressed with this set and it gave them lots of fun and creative time away from the screens.I would say it is a bit pricey but if the kids are happy I am also happy.Recommended!

Packaged perfectly in a pleasant storage box for convenience with a decent variety of hair design components to create a decent set of hair bands and bows which my two girls absolutely love as they are getting into do it themselves crafting and makeups etc keeping them happy and occupied with multicoloured stylish creativity and to be fair even if the kiddies are relatively new to this scene, it is an ideal starter kid for them which is durable and fit for purpose and straight forward to do.Great quality and value overall and happy to recommend

I hadn't seen a kit like this before so was really pleased to be asked to try this out. It's like a dream gift for my little girl as she loves any craft activities where she gets to wear the spoils of her work afterwards and hair accessories can even be worn in school, so this is ideal.The full price does seem a little on the high side for a craft set but it really is lovely and the quality you'd expect from Galt. If it's on special offer it would make an ideal gift for a girl aged between 4 (maybe 3 but it's a bit fiddly) and 7 or 8. We think it's great.

The set comes in a shiny card based case with metal carry handle and clasp closure. Open it up to find 2 plastic trays containing kit to make up ribbons and bows and 4 hair chalks. The set contains some elasticated and non elasticated ties, wide ribbons, and bow backplates. Plenty to keep some creative children happy.This was delivered in time for a sleepover, so I left the children to it with this box. Well that turned out to be a little irresponsible when I discovered the hair chalk on the pillows, bed sheets and carpet. I can’t see how, but they made a mess. Not the end of the world and the marks did come out of the fabrics. As for the ribbons and bows, to me they looked hideous, but not wanting to cause upset, I did what any good parent would do and lied to them, telling them how they looked like little princesses and they had created little bows of magical beauty. I decided that I should give them a hand, despite me having the creativity of a walnut. I had a go, platting some fabric ties, wrapping and tying a bow and even added a clip. I asked the kids what they thought of my wonderous creation. The children did what any good child would do and were brutally honest with me, telling me that my bow was rubbish and told me to stick to cleaning up after them. It was all good fun and I took their criticism with a bottle of wine and cried myself to sleep.Joking aside, it was fun and we had some good bonding time making the sleepover a success with happy memories made. The set can be a bit messy. I would recommend showers after the hair chalking or you will end up with rainbow pillows in the morning.
