Installation: Easy once I figured out that the suction works only on the window and not the dash lol. It doesn’t say if left/right locks the suction or releases it but it’s still easy to get the hang of once you figure that out.Value: I think it’s worth it. It felt like it was good quality and the suction really did stay until you release it. Plus it had a very clean look.Functionality: It functions as intended! The rotation is a little limited once suctioned so if I need to rotate it some more to get a better angle for my phone, I would just need to release the suction, re-angle, and enable the suction again.

I drive an older car that doesn’t have a great place for a cell phone holder. I can’t tell you how many I’ve tried. This is the one.It holds strong to my windshield, even in the Arizona heat. The magnet holds my phone without sliding or dropping. In fact, I have a magnetic ring on the back of my phone so I can slip my finger through to hold it securely. The magnet on this pulls that ring off my phone. I have to remove it from the car mount and put it back on my phone ever time I take the phone. But I’ll happily do that to finally have a place for my phone in my car!!!!!

I am really pleased with this device. I bought it for my RAM 1500 and was able to find the perfect place on the dash to use the suction cup and avoid using the sticky mount. The connection is firm. The magnetic grip to my phone is strong. I plan to buy another for my wife's car. It's definitely a much safer alternative to juggling the phone. Very pleased.
