Really high quality material and fabrication. Sturdy but looks very fancy.I also really appreciate the fully eco-friendly packaging, not a bit of plastic and only cardboard and paper.

The materials in this set are of high quality stainless steel, so you may expect a long life. That justifies the high price of the kit. However, with 6 meters of cable supplied and the advised maximum 1.5 meter spacing between the studs, you need at least 5 studs. However, only 4 studs are in the kit, forcing you to either cut off 1.5 meters of the cable and throw it away or order extra extension. In my view this us a basic error of the supplier.

I love these - beautifully designed and made. Once installed they will outlast the plant and the wall; and look professional if installed well.My advice on installation: gather the right tools. Install into brick, not mortar: aim for the centre area. Chalk up your positions on the wall first - as a mistake is hard to rectify. For a big installation the chalk allows you to check it is all level and straight across the wall before you pick up the drill. You drill a large diameter hole for the plug - you’re gonna need a SDS masonry drill. You’ll need wire rope cutters for a neat cut - any other tool won’t do it.You’ll need at least a spanner, flat screwdriver and Allen key. I used a ring spanner to wind the bolt into the wallplug as easier than a normal, but you also need a normal spanner.I add a stage to the instructions. My advice is to remove the wire holder and nut - they are torqued together. Install the bolt tight into the wall, then fit the nut and wire holder - torque back together using the flat screwdriver to ensure the wire channel is straight and true. Note the wire channel has slight differences in the wire depth for the two channels - you’ll want to keep this consistent across the installation. When fitting the wire I used mole grips to grasp the wire and pull reasonably taught - I didn’t want any saggy wires - but if you pull too tight the mounting bolts just bend - so me pulling tight with one arm, and securing the screw with the other, was about the correct tension. If you use mechanical means like a wire rope tensioner the mounting bolts will bend.Photo sequence: remove the wire holder and nut on the ground, not on the ladder. Install the bolt. Then torque the wire holder and nut together - like a lock-nut technique, unscrewing the inner nut against the wire holder held straight. Finished installation - no saggy wire, chalk marks to help avoid positioning mistakes.
