It's the best car wash brush that I have ever used. The bristles are absolutely perfect for car washing. They are soft and yet just stiff enough so as to not scratch any painted surfaces.The semi pointed tip is perfect for getting between the spokes on your wheels. I don't like using the long handled type wash brushes because you don't have the same control as with the Gardena 987 brush. Retail outlets in my area used to sell this Gardena brush, but all that is available now are long handled, stiff bristle brushes, or short handled, round, stiff bristle brushes. The one I just purchased is still in its box. There was nothing wrong with my old Gardena 987, but I am just afraid they will stop making this brush. I know it must sound like I work for Gardena, but trust me, I don't. I just really like this brush.

This is a repeat order: I purchased the same brush over 10 years ago and I used it regularly until the bristles were worn out. The handle can be turned to adjust water volume, and the bristles are an ideal stiffness: hard enough to clean, yet soft enough to not scratch the clearcoat. This is one of those simple, well-designed products that tend to be used often. I hope that Gardena continues to manufacture this brush in the future.
