Really works well to shutoff the water, unlike many such valves.

We're deep into the Gardena ecosphere. It's just so much more convenient. For my wife, pushing in a new attachment while the line is pressurized gets *very messy. First cutting the line pressure before changing an end-fitting is so much more convenient than three round-trips to the hose-bib that's ~75-feet away:1. once to kill pressure,2. back to vent pressure from hose and switch end-fitting,3. back to turn water pressure back on.That's 450-feet (3 75-foot round-trips) to change an end-fitting. True, we need to get our steps in...but that's not while "enjoying" the garden.

We put this on the intake to a large water filter for car washing and it works well. Nicely made, does what it promises.

Perfect for shut off on a dual water valve.
