I purchased the CamperCam 795 because I wanted a navigation solution that considered my motorhome constraints, a continuous recording dashcam and free lifetime updates from a reputable company.My first couple of journeys into rural Scotland went really well. The system not only routes you away from more challenging situations, it also regularly keeps you a step ahead in what is coming. This could be a narrow section of road, a tight bend, a steep decline or a change in speed limit. I felt like I had a knowledgeable copilot giving me a heads up. The inbuilt dashcam works seamlessly albeit I upgraded to a 256GB micro SD to allow longer recordings. The window suction mechanism is strong and does not impeded the dashcam view.I love Google Maps and I will continue to use that for the car but I thoroughly recommend the CamperCam for anyone with a motorhome.

It is not possible to use this device unless you attach it to the windscreen, which is miles from the driver!!! To use the dashcam function of this Sat Nav mounted on the vehicle's dash is not possible, as this Sat Nav display will not rotate and the camera is therefore is pointed at the dash!!!I cannot return it as it contains a battery...so strongly advise you to: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Worth every penny

I bought in to the Garmin brand as I considered it to be a market leader in the tracking and navigation market, but this particular product has let them down based upon my experience. The issues I found with it after it was fully updated were:- 1. Mounted on the front window, the unit continually kept loosing visibility of satellites.- 2. Accuracy of the position of the car poor, and it kept placing me on nearby roads.- 3. I was unable to connect the BC40 wireless camera, even though it was placed right next to it.I fully reset the unit back to defaults, updated it and tried again, but still had issues. I contacted Garmin customer support and they just told me to do the same, and provided no extra support.The unit has some potential, but after some further investigation in to alternative options, I've gone for the Aguri brand and this seems much better so far. It is also cheaper.
