I have been a Fenix user for many years now. I have a 6 and a 7 and bought this Fenix8 because after a couple of years on the 7, the battery appeared to be losing some power. Haven't explored all the functions of the Fenix 8 yet, but it is somewhat better than the 7. Only disappointment is that I wish Garman would allow a trade in on upgrading. They don't, however. I did do some trading with Samsung for their watches, and it helped in the buying process. However, I use the Garman 99% of the time.. Great watches.................

Very happy with the wtach. Good battery life, clear display and touch screen functionality and. asignificant upgrade from my Garmin 6 S as a lot of the features like sleep monitoring and HRV dont require you to wear the HRM strap.
