This is my first pedal board. I like it a lot! It comes with strong Velcro. I only used about half of the Velcro to fill up the whole board with pedals. It is altogether strong, stylish, and functional. Gator makes such great products...

This kit comes with the pedal board, An AC adapter with 2 different chains; one for a 6 pedal config, and a longer one for 10. It also comes with 2 long Velcro strips to seat your pedals if you plan on traveling with it. It does NOT come with the actual audio patch cables. I love the contour design, it feels right to me. The bag is fine for 99% of us- if you're a professional that's checking this as luggage, you'll want a hard case obviously.PROS:-Fun design. I've never seen one like this before.-While it is plastic, it feels durable enough. I'm not ceremoniously jumping on my pedal board to activate a pedal. Maybe I should work on that.-The oversized zones for expression pedals are nice. The one on the right makes perfect sense- if you want to get real nitpicky, they could have made a double-wide expression zone on the right instead of on each side, as a "traditional" setup would have your wah, volume, etc before distortion boxes, echoes, yadayadayada.. Or heck, just make the entire board as long as a typical expression and let the user decide where to put their effects. But then it wouldn't look like a "bone", which is part of the charm I suppose. Flame away, as I'm sure many of us place their expression pedals at the end of their chain. Calm down, have fun.CONS:- The ac adapter does not have a thick cord. Think standard PC peripheral grade (speakers/modem/router, etc). If you're planning on gigging with this, I'd wind the adapter cable it comes with to the shortest possible length to get everything power, then connect with a good ol' fashioned extension cord right at the pedal board.- Not really a con, but "you may need to buy": Some pedals do not use the standard 9V connection that this board uses (old digitechs and RAT pedals for example) So you'll need to add on a few adapters (readily available on amazon for $4 each).- In my opinion, you're dreaming if you think you can fit 4 standard pedals on an expression zone as pictured. Think about the audio and power patches- where are they going to go?? MXR pedals, perhaps.Overall, glad I picked it up.

It's a good pedal board however the velcro surface comes off in places. You will need some super glue to re-fasten it. It should be mentioned in the description that it also comes with a daisy-chain power supply to power all your pedals and the power supply also has adaptors for European power outlets as well as others.

Nice size platform for pedals. I hadn't seen a picture with a Bad Horsie on one of these, so I wasn't sure if it would be wide enough. It's that and then some. The Mega Bone is plenty large. And offers a pretty good set of options for laying out your pedals. The Velcro doesn't really work that great. But it does allow you to switch out pedals easy. And as another reviewer noted, the power supply is cheap, and noisy. But the platform is solid and built to last. The bag is ok. I honestly think if you were going to haul this around to gigs, you would need a hard case. Not the bag. At least not with pedals on the board. For me, this works since it will stay in my music room. And it's just what I was looking for. I will replace the power supply with something more upscale than what came with this though. So you should plan on that if you buy this. As an added note, the power supply, or daisy chain came with two different chains. One was 5 tips, and the other was for 10 connections. Also it had 5 different slide off and on plug adapters for various Countries electrical style outlets. So they did give it some thought. If you have a noise gate, it may solve the noise issue. I've just never needed one before. The pics show a couple layouts to give a better idea of what you can place on the Mega Bone. The white striping is the backing of the Velcro before I took it off the board.
