I have never been disappointed with Gator, I have several of their cases. I use this case for my Yamaha 3/4 size guitar. It’s sturdy and I love that it can stand on its metal rivets without falling over.

Hard case that fits yamaha classical guitar securely. worth the money.

I gave 4 stars for the value, but am a little dissapointed for the fit and contradictory dimensions on above description/specs.Ok, so the guitar "fits" snugly. I utilized for my beautiful, higher-end, CORT, solid black-wood, electric acoustic, with the top cut-away. The 1st dimensions of product has a body height of 4.5" and later description has 4.9. The 1st dimensions show much greater room in the lower, middle and upper body diameter. The over-all remains 40". Following receiving the product, I find the second (2nd) set of dimensions is accurate. It is tight, more than "snug", I worry that a high drop of 6 ft or a blow to case by other luggage may...crack my guitar. The lid shutting is tight on the keyed lock mechanism.This also bring up rhat ther are only three (3) latches to secure lide, not the usual 4-5 for gradual, secure latching.Btw, my CORT, i'd consider as a small, "classical". A little larger than a Taylor GS mini. I would have given 5 stars, almost gave 3, if not for barely fitting and only 3 latches.
