Perfect fit for rpi's. But the adittional hardware gave in after a while. The mounting backet itsself is very good though! Certainly recommended.

Gut verarbeitet und auch sonst finde ich dieses Einbaukitt toll. Wenn man einen 19" Schrank und einen Rasperry hat, dann ist dieses Einbaukit Pflicht!!Zwei kleine Nachteile:- Leider gibt es Probleme bei der Micro SD Anbindung. Mit meinen SD Karten hängt sich das OS beim Booten auf. Möglicherweise funktionert es mit langsamen SD Karten, oder wenn man kein HDMI nutzt (wie schon andere geschrieben haben). Beides habe ich nicht getestet.Zumindest kann man den Adapter seperat ausbauen und die SD Karte wie gewohnt nutzen.- Streng genommen ist die Lüftung für ein 19" Serverrack falsch ausgelegt, da die Lüfter von oben auf die Raspberry Pi blasen. Es müsste eigentlich von Vorne nach Hinten sein. -> Ich kann mir aber nicht vorstellen, daß dies irgendwo ein Problem verursacht.

I have been playing with my setup for a few weeks. I got this GeeekPi 1U Rack Kit for Raspberry Pi 4B specifically for building a cluster system of 4 Raspberry Pi 4B 8GB machines. Setup went smooth, easy to follow the design intent. Unfortunately, once the microSD cards went into the systems, everything went into stasis. I stated with the first one that was intended to become the primary node of the cluster, and the booting sequence always halted after a few "buffer I/O error" statements showed using Rasp OS Light. Tried the same units after removing the microSD card adapter and just plugging the microSD into the back of each Pi. Low and behold, no issues with "buffer I/O error".I thought maybe I had not settled the ribbon cables for the microSD adapters in correctly, so I removed and resettled on two units. Still, buffer I/O errors and halted boot to OS.So, I will be taking these SD adapters out of the mix and just use it without the microSD adapters. Should work far better than fighting the I/O error issues.One feature out of 5 that were important to me not functioning, I can live with, but I can't say I am happy with it.Especially since two of these ribbon cables showed multiple kinks upon receipt, but trying two with out the pinch points made no difference.

Rack complet pour accueillir 4 Raspberry Pi 4. Il est livré avec tout le nécessaire pour pouvoir brancher la carte SD et HDMI en façade : cartes de déport, ventilateurs, dissipateurs thermiques, nappes, vis, entretoises…Le rack est en métal donc solide et l’ensemble est très facile à monter.Je conseille toutefois d’alimenter électriquement les RPI par des POE hat surtout si c’est pour l’encastrer entre deux autres éléments dans votre baie. Sinon il faudra jouer des mains pour brancher/débrancher les RPI.Bonne nouvelle, le rack peut accueillir d’autre version de RPI. J’avais un vieux Raspberry Pi 2B, il rentre sans problème (voir photo). En revanche, il n’est pas possible de brancher la carte de déport HDMI et SD de la face avant sur une autre version que le Pi 4.L’inconvénient de ce rack est qu’il faut être vigilant car les Raspberry Pi sont fixés avec deux vis sur le rack d’une largeur approximative de 4 cm ce qui fait qu’en dessous le PCB du RPI dépasse beaucoup. Il n’est pas question de manipuler des éléments en dessous sous peine d’endommager les framboises ou de faire un court-circuit si cela touche un autre élément métallique. C’est dans une baie donc le risque est limité mais il faut l’avoir en tête.Pour pallier cela, un support imprimé avec une imprimante 3D fera l’affaire.Pour conclure, très bon produit.Maintenant ma mission au moment où je rédige cet avis (janvier 2022) est de trouver deux autres RPI 4 en stock (pénurie) à des prix abordables car vendu de 80 à 200 € !!! 😉
