I have real trouble finding proper oven gloves (ie, with fingers) that I can use, as a woman with big hands. Most 'large' or even 'XL' gloves are, shall we say, insultingly small. Remnants from an era where women capped out at 5' tall (I'm closer to 6') and were dainty little blossoms (I am... not that).Nothing ruins my day more than housework, unless it's housework done with washing or oven gloves that make me feel like an outlandishly oversized freak of nature.Anyway, on to these gloves, which totally WIN in my book. They're big enough that both I and my husband can use them comfortably with our 2XL-sized hands, and I reckon they'd even be good for a 3XL or possibly 4XL sized hand.NO MORE must we giants among men (and women) risk our fingers with tea towels that slip! NO MORE must we hide away in the dark, ashamed of our giant mitts! For there is a solution, and these gloves are it!Sorry, got a bit carried away there. It's a heady feeling, being able to grab hot trays straight from the oven with perfect poise because I have gloves that actually fit. And the fact they have fingers (not one of those weird oven-mittens that make you feel like some kind of human-walrus hybrid) means I actually have full control over what I'm holding.Great gloves, zero complaints. They're well-made, and totally live up to expectations.

Eigentlich war ich auf der Suche nach klassischen Grillhandschuhen, bin hier bei Amazon dann aber über diese gestoßen.Zuerst war ich sehr skeptisch, da das Äußere doch eher an einen Astronautenhandshuh erinnert.Nach der ersten Verwendung waren meine Bedenken verflogen. Natürlich hat man nicht das Griffgefühl, als wenn man dünne Handschuhe trägt, aber man kann Gegenstände dennoch sicher und ordentlich greifen. Ich habe die Handschuhe schon zum Grillen und zum Backen verwendet. Der Hitzeschutz ist wirklich super. Heiße Auflaufformen stellen überhaupt kein Problem dar und können auch einen längeren Zeitraum in der Hand gehalten werden ohne sich zu verbrennen. Beim Grillen sind die Unterarme ausreichend durch den längeren Schaft geschützt. Ein großer Vorteil ist, dass man das Grillgut direkt mit den Händen anfassen oder wenden kann. Gerade bei empfindlichem Grillgut ist dies ein riesen Vorteil gegenüber eines Grillbestecks. Zum Reinigen ziehe ich die Handschuhe an und halte Sie unter heißes fließendes Wasser. Etwas Spülmittel dazu – fertig. Das ist wie Händewaschen und geht super schnell.Ich bin begeistert und kann die Handschuhe zu diesem Preis nur weiterempfehlen!

Loved these. My dogs chewed them so I don’t have them anymore but I’ve never had a pair of over mitts that fit my hands comfortably. These ones do and because my hands are so big most pots I can only put two fingers in so these are great.
