Ist auch für den älteren 2B verwendbar. Die mitgelieferten Wärmeleitpads entsprechen nicht den Abbildungen, passen aber. Deutlich bessere Kühlung als die fast nutzlosen aufklebbaren Kühler auf den Chips.

Ho preso questo case perchè ne avevo uno stampato in 3D che però, nonostante usassi anche una ventola, non riusciva ad abbassare la temperatura del mio Raspberry Pi 3B sotto i 49 gradi.L'installazione è molto semplice, nella confezione è presente tutto il necessario per il montaggio.Prima avevo una temperatura media di circa 48° con picchi a 50°, dopo aver installato questo case, la temperatura media ora è 42° e il picco massimo raggiunto in giornata è stato 45°, quindi un abbassamento di circa 5-6°, che è proprio quello che mi aspettavo di ottenere.Anche esteticamente non è male, soprattutto perchè con il mio case precedente, avendo un HUB USB attaccato ad una porta tendeva a inclinarsi da quella parte, con questo invece, grazie alla sua solidità e robustezza, rimane stabile in posizione.Ho trovato il rapporto qualità/prezzo molto buono e mi sento di consigliarlo.

For reference, I used to have two small heatsinks on the top of the pi on the chips, no heatsink on the bottom, and my pi was in a small plastic case. Now, both chips are in contact with this case/heatsink at the top and the exposed part of the chip on the bottom of the pi is as well. I monitored temps prior to installing this new case and it was consistently in the 58-64C range, now it's consistently 40-44C. The case looks good and seems very sturdy and well made.It's supposed to come with 4 thermal pads: 3 larger pads and 1 smaller pad. Two large pads are intended for the top and bottom of the larger chip, the small pad is intended for the top of the smaller chip, and the third large pad is in case you're missing the metal shroud on the top of the larger chip to make up the distance and make contact with the case. I luckily did have this shroud so only needed one larger pad, so I was able to use the extra for the smaller chip. The pad is oversized but ultimately doesn't seem like an issue, and isn't significant enough for me to drop a star. If you need all 4 pads you may feel differently but this is more than good enough for me.

Love this product as a perfect way to both protect and cool my raspi.The only thing I think could be improved is the instructions / thermal pads. The ones I received were not exactly as shown in the imagery (but still function perfectly, just had to double check thicknesses and fitment)Overall completely recommend this case if you can buy a raspi on the current market
