I contacted Sibanyi Trading Co., who are the seller of the Geevon 4 Pack Water Leak Detectors, and asked them approx. how long the battery lasts and does the alarm sound as the battery electricity depletes. They told me: 3-years and yes it does, which is very positive. I would appreciate other purchases experience on this.

Works well. Sound is loud.
