I’m really pleased with these grow bags after filling them with compost—they’re the perfect size for potatoes and make growing them so easy. I grew some last year and, with more bags this time around, have increased my harvest!Homegrown potatoes taste so much better. Here’s a tip: let your favourite potatoes start to sprout in a cardboard box, then plant them in the bags. The window on the side isn’t necessarily for removing the potatoes, but it gives a helpful glimpse to see if they’re ready to harvest. When they are, simply tip the whole bag into a wheelbarrow and pick out the potatoes! The bags are well-made, durable, and the black colour looks smart—much better than green, in my opinion.

These bags, folded, alongside a pair of gardening gloves and 5 labels.There are 5 bags in total with each having a velcro flap, so you can see how your crops are faring under the compost.The material is really sturdy and they're a good size (12 gallons), allowing enough depth for root crops like carrots/potatoes.Each has a pair of carrying handles to help move them about, ideally these would have been a little longer.At £18.99, at time of review, I think they're good value for versatile growing bags that could be used in the smallest of spaces.
