My thumb changes size based on the weather. These really help when the ball is loose fitting.

For once the marketing is honest. I am much more consistent with my release due to this tape. Keep in mind, I don't "grip" the ball so much. I push my thumb "Up" and away from my hand and use this tape on the top of my thumb to let the ball slide off more consistently. While I can bowl just fine without tape, I notice that my release changes constantly. This fixes that and its one less variable to think about. I have people ask me about the tape and I let em try it, but honestly most people don't see a difference due to "gripping" the ball. It's not a natural way to bowl as your instinct is to squeeze the ball, not push your thumb away from your hand.

Perfect for me because I at times use the slowest release tape or the fastest release. This way I get a bit of both right in the middle. I didn’t need to go back and forth with my tapes during league. It is very durable as well. My new favorite.

I've tried several different bowling tapes and Genesis Excel Performance Tape is the best!It keeps its grip all night long (even if it gets wet) and protects my fingers from getting injured and sore.
