GHS 350 Silk n Steel 11-48 Medium Akoestische Gitaar String Set

These are one of my favorite acoustic guitar strings for fingerstyle! They are so lightweight and easy to play and yet they sound so beautiful! When you put them on the guitar the high E string is so light you would swear that it's going to break, but I've had absolutely no issues with that at all. On my guitar the tone is even from top to bottom. I'm using them on a solid wood guitar with a spruce top and maple back and they really bring out the tone of the guitar itself. The low E has what you might consider a perfect blend between an acoustic and classical guitar sound. It sounds like an acoustic string with a hint of rich beautiful warmth to it. The highs and mids are absolutely beautiful. On my guitar I found out that having the lower tension of these strings actually sounds much better than putting a medium or even light gauge string on. The lower tension of these very lightweight strings actually resonate the top of the guitar better. There's more complexity to the sound and the overtones. Obviously I think you probably need a pretty nice guitar to get all the benefits of what I've just mentioned, but I'm going to be getting a lower priced travel guitar soon and I'm certainly going to put them on that too and try them out on it. They have plenty of volume for fingerstyle. I don't really strum much so I'm not going to comment on that at all, but if you love fingerstyle I highly recommend them. I also like the all silver look of them. They are pricier, but worth it! And they seem to last quite a while. They settle in really nice too.

La scelta delle corde da abbinare alla propria chitarra spesso diventa una ricerca laboriosa che impegna diverso tempo e denaro. Ho provato diverse corde Silk di cui ho anche rilasciato qualche recensione, ma queste nell'immediato mi hanno veramente stupito. Le corde sono di colore "argento", morbide e piacevoli al tatto. Restituiscono un suono abbastanza corposo e ricco di armoniche, almeno con i legni della mia chitarra. Mi sembra abbiano meno proiezione rispetto le Ernie Ball, anche esse ottime corde, ma in compenso hanno un suono ben bilanciato tra alti e bassi e un timbro quasi "personale".Voglio anche evidenziare la puntualità di Amazon nella sostituzione della prima confezione che mi è arrivata senza la 4° corda.Ovviamente quanto descritto è puramente soggettivo. La scelta delle corde dipende dai gusti e modo di suonare e dal tipo di chitarra.

These stings feel nice and light under the finger and have completely changed the sound of my small body acoustic (for the better). If you're on the fence, I'd say give them a try (they're a reasonable price).
