I wasn't using this for a drum set so it ended up being bigger than I needed it to be. But as a T-clamp in general his is bullet proof. It is all metal and made with quality parts. Both halves come apart so it can be separated for various uses. The bolts come out and the wing nuts can be positioned on the same side or whatever arrangement you need. If I need another T-clamp for something I'll get one of these again.

We used these to hook a couple of stage cross bars together for a backdrop. With a little foam adaption, they worked great. I liked the way they came apart so that I could manipulate them to work with our tripod and crossbar. I found them to be very sturdy and well made.
