Mit dem Kaffe in der Hand die Treppe hocheilen und zeitgleich das Smartphone aus der Hosentasche ziehen wollen - mittelprächtige Idee.Resultat: Das Telefon fällt, landet mit Schwung auf der Holztreppe, rutscht durch die Treppenstufen und fällt weitere zweieinhalb Meter auf den Fliesenboden mit dem Display - auf dem eine Schutzfolie angebracht war - voran.Die Schutzfolie musste danach ausgetauscht werden und hat ihren Dienst getan, das Telefon selbst hingegen hat den Sturz unbeschadet überstanden.Wer ein robustes Smartphone will, das hält (also wirklich aushält), was es verspricht, der ist mit dem Gigaset GX6 gut bedient.

Si tratta di un oggetto. bello e funzionale. Leggermente pesante, a me piace così. Buone le dimensioni. Si ha la sensazione di avere un bel computer in mano. La funzionalità é ben congegnata. Vengono fatti aggiornamenti con regolarità. L'ho scelto per la batteria facilmente sostituibile e per la memoria espandibile. Altra buona ragione per l'acquisto é costruito in Europa.

I have had this phone for a good month or so now so enough time to work out what I like and what I don't like so much.The positives are: made in Germany so you know it's well built, nice size screen, fairly heavy which in my opinion is great because it feels robust, it's quick, the battery lasts very well, easy to set-up, really good display; this was one thing I was worried about because it has far fewer pixels compared to a lot of modern phones but no issues at all with the screen, camera is quick so great for capturing unexpected photographic moments, the screen lock/unlock button is also the fingerprint sensor which is genius! It's extremely fast at unlocking your screen just by glancing at it if you don't want to use your fingerprint, and in fact I might turn that off because sometimes I just want to see the time, not unlock it by looking at it! Good sound quality for phone calls and to listen to music - obviously it's still a small speaker so not going to compare to a sound system but I listen to the radio a lot on it and I'm also happy with the sound coming out. Lastly, and this is an excellent feature - the battery is replaceable! I mean, why don't all manufacturers do this? Well, because they make more money out of you by not doing, so it makes me feel Gigaset are not just out to make money, they actually want to make a product that lasts.On the not-so-good side: the emoji button is next to the space bar and I'm constantly pressing the emoji button instead of the space bar and end up putting smiley faces everywhere! Maybe there is a way of changing this in some settings somewhere and one day I might give it a go. And that's it for the negatives so I'll live with it!Overall, go for it, it's a brilliant phone and I plan on keeping it for years.
