Bought two for my Christmas table. I love the simple, but stylish design.I unpacked the first lamp and took the gold base off to remove the packaging that was protecting it. When I came to do the second one, I found that whoever had packaged the lamp base, had pushed the gold metal base onto the glass holder over the top of the plastic and tissue paper packing which made it absolutely impossible to remove. I couldn't apply too much pressure or force as I was scared of breaking the glass and causing an injury. Sadly, the lamp cannot be used and I have had to initiate a return.I have ordered a replacement, so hopefully this will be as easy to unpack as the first one.
