Earlier this month I purchased some new lighting for my PC from ezfab-diy, and to my shock they had motherboard only wiring so I couldn't plug them into my Corsair Commander Core XT for lighting control. I first purchased type 1 but I didn't realise corsair uses 4 pin lighting, so after a quick exchange which amazon was great with, type 2 arrived the next day and I was straight to installing. iCue picked my LED strips up no problem, and my issue was fixed. You get two cables for the cost and competitors are charging the same price or more for one alone so they're fantastic value for money. They perform well and while they do seem like a low build quality, they do the job and it isn't exactly like they're in a harsh enough environment in the back of a computer for that to matter much. They are easy to install using the corsair proprietary clips and the standard RGB pins. I'd highly recommend this product if you're wanting to do something like I did because you really can't find it cheaper elsewhere.
