I bought a cheap one that broke. It was a quarter of the price and a tenth of the quality. This box is very sturdy with a rubber sealing ring and the locking mechanism far superior. Takes a large and small full face helmet, but perhaps only one flip front lid. It's not cheap, but I reckon I will have this for years if looked after. One point beware the cheaper boxes with the bolt to fasten them down, mine came undone on a ride and the box at up against my back. No chance of it happening with the Givi Blade. Bite the bullet and buy quality. The ability to install brake lights is neat. Mine is not a permanent fixture so I doubt I will do that. Although I have bought the back rest for the missus and internal bag.

It's really really good, and when you don't need it you can just easily detach it with a push of a button. But i think it vibrates a lot .i don't feel it's held tight to the monolock. Also the reflectors don't reflect much, they might not reflect at all.
