Install is super easy, just drill the pre marked holes from the inside of the case, then screw the back rest to the top case. I didn't even take this off my bike to do it. it tells you the correct drill bit size to use, and a screw driver to bolt it. It comes with the water proofing washers as well, we wouldn't expect anything less from them.It is made for this top case so it looks pretty good. At first my wife and I were worried this would be too high up, but she says its comfortable and feels good. She is about 5'6-5'8"" if that helps with fitment.if you have this top case and you carry a passenger, its totally worth the $75 and the 10 minutes to install.

This product was not quite right for my application..but the Seller was awesome to deal with. Buy with confidence. The backrest itself is firm, easy to assemble on the top box and we'll built.

Excellent product, it was tricky to get the template in the right place because it comes in two pieces it would have been easier if it was a single piece of paper.
