I have very high arches and get Plantar fasciitis, when it flares it hurts so bad it is difficult to walk without limping. These little inserts helped support my arch in my ballet flat shoes. Many of the other supports that I purchased don't fit well in my delicate flats. These worked perfect as they are small and don't show on the sides. It was a little difficult to get them positioned correctly but once you do, they made a difference. the price is perfect as well. currently they are about $5.50 for 2 pair.

These inserts are wonderful. I stopped wearing high heels several years ago mostly because of the lack of arch support. When I saw these I gave them a try and they are GREAT. You can basically adjust them four ways - depending on how you turn them (side to side or front to back), you'll get a differing level of arch support. I found what works best for me is to have the higher side on my instep. It took a bit of adjusting but once I finally figured out exactly the right spot, I just removed the backing and stuck them to the shoe. I then had to trim the edges a bit as a small portion of the edge hung over, but that was no big deal. It makes it possible for me to wear heels again!These did NOT work well in my ballet flats, mostly because of the way the flats are shaped and the fact that the adhesive won't really stick as well to the ballet flats. But for all of my heels, and even some smooth-topped flip flops, these are a definite "yes". I will order more.
