Unboxed the Slate 7 in the lounge, tapped the touchscreen once, and my phone, laptop, and Switch were all on a private network before the boarding call. The QR code join is genius, no hunting for passwords, and the built-in WireGuard pulled full streaming speeds, even over the flaky terminal Wi-Fi.Used it all week in the hotel and later on a cruise; never had to re-register every device, and the ad-block toggle on the screen saved my sanity. Small, solid, and runs OpenWrt if you want to tinker, couldn’t ask for more in a travel router.
