Does exactly what you expect from it. I am using it with VPN on and, when connected with ethernet, have no complaints about the speed. Light, portable and powerful - if you move a lot around then you should have this router.

Small form factor, easy to use, antennas in front of the device, makes placement also easy on book shelf.

Ik gebruik deze router tijdens reizen. Met thuis een Raspberry Pi met PiVPN maakt deze travel router een WireGuard tunnel in elk hotel waar je komt. Sommige hotels blokkeren alles behalve dns(53), http(80) en https(443), dan is het handig om de WireGuard server thuis op poort 443 aan te bieden. De router werkt ook achter een captive portal van het hotel en kan gevoed worden via een power bank. Let wel dat deze genoeg vermogen (15W) levert anders kan het Wi-Fi signaal uitvallen.

Heb nu via 4g / 5g een goed wifi netwerk in mijn blokhut. Lekker stabiel ..

Een flexibele inzetbare internet-alles-kunner voor zowel thuis als op reis. Op reis gewoon aansluiten en verbinden via Wifi of LAN en klaar, maar je kan het ook thuis als de security-spin in je netwerk plaatsen. Het is dan wel even puzzelen met alle andere internet gear als je die hebt (compatibility), maar je hebt ook dan ook echt iets in handen. Je kan er zelfs externe schijven en memory op aansluiten. Van VPN-router tot Accespoint deze kan het allemaal... ofwel geheel naar eigen wens kan je dit tooltje inzetten. (Ik moet er nog mee gaan spelen/installeren, maar dit is top notch zoals ze zelf ook zeggen, en met alle oude ouderwetse meuk waar ik tot heden alles mee 'pratende' kreeg moet dit een makkie gaan worden...) TOP!

I bought this for use in a hotel room so I could connect to either the hotel's WiFi or wired connection, then connect a laptop with Plex media server and Firestick to the ethernet ports.To test this at home I configured it as a repeater, signed it into my home's WiFi, then connected my laptop and Firestick to the ethernet ports on the router. Worked great. I then further tested the router's WiFi by connecting another laptop and my phone to its WiFi, which also worked great.As a bonus, since I likely will not need the WAN port, I easily configured it as a LAN port.So I have a great, compact, easy-to-use router for when I travel.I'm in awe how easy and quick it was to set everything up on the first try just the way I intended.My apartment has concrete walls that make having a router or access point necessary in almost every room. Two of the access points I have only have 1 ethernet port on them, so with 1 of them I also have a switch. If I had to start over, I just would have bought 3 of these. It's almost impossible to find access points and repeaters with more than 1 port.I highly recommend this for travel or even as a single-room AP.

Cumpre a função para que foi adquirido, simples na instalação e configuração, no entanto necessitava de mais uma ou duas porte de LAN, para evitar adicionar um Switch na rede.

Worked as intended, just that it came without an instructions manual(you can get it through googling it or downloading the GLiNet app. Pretty idiot-proof. Use this to get around most hotel wifi captive portals and share that single device wifi allowance with multiple other devices don't forget to turn off your VPNs/Tor on this device before you try to connect to the hotel wifi if not the connection will time out.

El tamaño es super compacto, como si fuera una cartera llena de tarjetas.Muy ligero, y viene acompañado del su cargador y un cable ethernet.Es muy sencillo de configurar para compartir el internet por medio de ethernet o wifi (conectarse a esos para a su vez compartir)Toda la configuracion se hace por medio del navegador o su aplicacion (en mi caso android)Una vez configurado se pueden conectar todos los dispositivos que queramos con total seguridad.En mi caso he configurado una VPN que se puede activar desde el mismo panel o con solo activar un botón que tiene el dispositivo a un costado, todos los dispositivos que se conecten a su vez estaremos en esa VPN.Es muy bueno para salir de viaje, te conectas a wifi del hotel, del restaurant, del aeropuerto donde sea, y solo compartes a todos tus dispositivos ya con total seguridad.
