The dies need a bit of effort to get them to cut out, but they are worth it. I wouldn't recommend using 300gsm card.

These cut really well and good value for money. They are a good size for focal images. You have to clip the pieces apart and some were a little tricky as they were inside another die. Each die has a number so when you make a design you can list the numbers out to make it easily the next time. It was a little intimidating at first... I wish the packaging had the image of them put together, but I just pulled up the pic here and made the ones it showed and put the numbers on the images I created for easy reference. (See picture) you can also mix the pieces up and make even more (see the the two small dogs in the center row in the pic for examples)Edit: (forgot to include the 'defects'Downsides: thw eyes in the the die for the center of the Siamese looking cat (die #20) doesn't match up with the head (#19) die. Also the cat tail (#26 & 27) dies and the ears (#7 & 23) dies just emboss the detail (ie you have to cut the inside or stripes yourself which can be a bit tricky) and the cat ears aren't mirror images like the dog ears are. Over all, I don't think these defects ruin the use of the set, it's just something to be aware if.

Adorable cutting die, but get ready for a lot of tiny pieces. I use the photo as a guide to put the pieces together after I cut them out. Very adorable!

I opened package, and took apart the animals, then looked at the couch, it was damaged. Probably can't send back it's already apart.
