I picked this up a while ago but didn't install right away as I was going through some PC issues. I thought I might have to get a newer PC but was able to fix everything. So I went ahead and installed this, even though I only have a 3.0 x4 slot. So I knew it would not be as fast as it could or what's listed, but overall I am happy with it and its faster than the USB versions I have.I will probably get a new PC and plan on using this on that which would be more inline with the proper speeds but for now its working great. The heat sink is pretty good and it seems to keep it on the cooler side unlike my USB one so I liked that. Its pretty easy to install and comes with everything you need, other than the SSD drive. Price wise, it a good deal too.

I’ve been using the GLOTRENDS PA16 adapter for a while now, and overall, it’s a decent product. The adapter is easy to install, and it fits well in both my PC and 1U server setup. The PCIe 4.0 x4 support delivers solid performance for my NVMe drive, with impressive read/write speeds.The full-cover aluminum heatsink does an okay job at managing temperatures under moderate loads, but during heavy use, the drive still runs hotter than expected. The thermal pad included doesn’t seem to provide optimal heat transfer, so I might need to upgrade it myself.One downside is the build quality—it feels a bit flimsy for a product in this price range. Additionally, the instructions were sparse, which could be frustrating for less tech-savvy users.Overall, it gets the job done, but with a few tweaks and better components, this could be a standout product.

this was straightforward to install and comes with pretty much everything needed. With a gen 4 I got the expected speeds, so it doesn't have any issues with bandwidth. The drives I've used do tend to get a bit warm, so the heatsink on this might not be enough on it's own for higher end drives. Overall not a bad pickup though.
