Quand j'ai déballé la boite, j'étais étonné : il est très petit si on compare aux flashs pros. J’ai testé ce Godox iM20 sur un Nikon sans flash intégré et il fonctionne. Ce flash manuel compact est un atout pour les situations dans lesquelles l'on a besoin d'un éclairage d’appoint, en contre-jour par exemple, pour éviter de trop monter en ISO qui génèrent du bruit photo.Il se fixe sur la griffe porte-accessoire standard, ne prend presque pas de place (à peine 4 cm de large pour un peu plus de 1 cm d’épaisseur), et peut se glisser dans une poche ! Ça compte quand on transporte déjà du matériel photo encombrant.J’ai aussi essayé aussi récemment le modèle iM30, plus gros et à piles, mais je préfère le iM20, car il est rechargeable via USB et semble avoir une bonne autonomie. Il est livré avec un petit sac de transport et un câble de recharge.À noter : ce flash est entièrement manuel. Pas de TTL, etc. La notice est uniquement en anglais. Il sera utile seulement en mode M (manuel), car il faut régler l’ouverture, la vitesse (inférieure à 1/200 annoncé 1/250s) et les ISO à la main.La puissance est réglable sur 5 niveaux, via un bouton unique, avec des diodes pour l’indication. Très simple à utiliser. Personnellement, je mets directement la puissance au maximum et j’ajuste l’ouverture pour m'adapter à la luminosité.Je n’ai pas encore testé le bracketing d'exposition avec ce type de flash, donc à voir si cela fonctionne.Son principal avantage : légèreté et compacité. On peut vraiment l’emporter partout sans s’encombrer.La notice, cependant, est très succincte. Un lien vers un tutoriel ou une vidéo d’explication serait le bienvenu. Cela dit, avec un peu d’expérience, on s’en sort facilement. Et pour les débutants, je recommande de shooter en RAW pour pouvoir modifier l’exposition en post-prod.Bref, un petit flash pour les utilisateurs avertis en photo, qui veulent avoir un flash léger sous la main fiable et efficace.

Mit einer vollen Ladung des eingebauten Lithium-Akkus sind bis zu 440 Blitze bei voller Leistung möglich. Das ist mehr als genug für die meisten Shootings und unterstreicht die Effizienz des IM20. I got this to fit onto my ancient EOS 500D camera to try and make more of the battery life (and stop it flipping up the flash!).It works great. Simple to charge with the USB cable and then just turn it on. Worked perfectly in sync with my DSLR and is *incredibly* bright, even on the lowest setting. So much that I had to adjust the camera settings a little but it worked well even on large scenes.A nice tiny little thing to put into the flash shoe so no need to carry other bits around, and gives plenty of flashes on a single charge. Simple and instant brightness adjustment and easy enough to remove and use the in-built flash when I need to.A good price and a great compact little product with lots of power in it.

Incredible little flash. It's the perfect combination of size and output for my 50mm everyday walkaround setup. If you are looking for a compact flash for your Leica M system, look no further.When I bought it I intended to only use it every once in a while when I wanted that front flash vibe, but it's so small that I only remove it on the brightest of days or when I know I'll be running around swinging my camera around chasing action.There is no mechanism to hold it in the hotshoe, but it's a TIGHT fit and not going anywhere, the unit will probably break before it pops off. I was skeptical at first, but I have grown to prefer that over a threaded collar type hold down, it's just another feature that makes this so easy to use. Powers up fast, battery charges quick and lasts a long time, it's unobtrusive but also easy to access its functions without having to think about it. I really haven't found anything I dislike about the iM20.The only reason I will change to a different flash is if godox releases a painted aluminum body version of this so it looks match its high end function.Bottom line, you won't be disappointed if you buy this.
