GODOX V1 PRO C Camera Flash (B0CST5FFWV)Amazing piece of kit, very pleased how well it works.The name Godox is well known for good quality photographic equipment so it is no surprise that this flash kit works so well.The USB-C rechargeable battery gives this a massive boost in enabling multiple flashes with very little recovery time needed.The flash unit attaches swiftly, smoothly and easily to the camera mount due to the precision build. Flash illumination is uniform across the subjects and does make an enormous difference when comparing images with and without using the flash. I look forward to the time when I might be able to try simultaneous flash with a duplicate unit to see what lighting effects can be delivered.

It's well known that GODOX makes some really great photography equipment. This V1ProC flash/speedlight for Canon cameras is no exception. It looks and feels very solidly built and there are no manufacturing issues to note. The specs are in the seller page as well las the cameras it works with. This one has all the bells and whistles from full auto ETTL to fully manual settings. It works with the excellent GODOX 2.4 GHz wireless control system for extra flexibility in use. The round flash head produces a very nice light pattern and it also include a modelling light. Even further to this it includes a detachable sub-flash that mounts to the front for additional oil lighting, a unique feature. With the included rechargeable battery (and charger) this is a performance powerhouse offering 100 consecutive flashes at full power, less than 1.3 seconds recycle time, high speed sync, a power port and a dedicated button to quickly switch between ETTL and manual settings. The USB-C charging is the latest and works nicely to refuel you battery. This is arguably one of the best flashes I this category and I would recommend it to amateurs and professionals alike.

Oggi più che mai acquistando un flash si sceglie anche un sistema, e sono anni che Godox non sbaglia un colpo. Ormai infatti da tempo Godox offre la cross compatibility tra sistemi fotografici diversi tramite wireless, il che significa che i flash sopravvivono al vostro sistema fotografico. Per esempio, io utilizzo Canon e Sony, ma tutti i flash Canon che ho funzionano perfettamente anche con Sony, per Sony ho dovuto comprare solo il trigger remoto, poi li fa funzionare (in TTL!) a prescindere da quale sia il sistema nativo del lampeggiatore. Cioè il flash ETTL Canon diventa compatibile con il TTL Sony. Fantastico.Per le foto uso ancora prevalentemente Canon (faccio ancora anche analogico b/w), e questo è il motivo per cui ho preso in slitta Canon il V1 PRO.Come il predecessore, è un flash eccellente. Aggiunge, rispetto al vecchio modello, la possibilità di caricare la batteria direttamente tramite usb-c (sembra una fesseria ma è comodissimo!), l'attacco sulla slitta a baionetta (anche questo, dopo tre giorni è irrinunciabile!), la luce pilota per i video, un nuovo pattern di illuminazione AF (per chi scatta con reflex, come me), il flash per schiarire le ombre installabile quando si ruota la parabola (e no, una volta installato non blocca il fascio IR per la messa a fuoco), una luce di qualità migliore, leggermente già diffusa, per ombre meno dure…. Insomma, tantissime piccole cose che ne fanno un flash migliore a 360 gradi.Segnalo solo due punti che avrei desiderato, ma che probabilmente sono irrealizzabili:- la luce pilota non “zoomma” insieme alla parabola del flash, ha un angolo di campo pari a circa 40mm e resta quello;- quanto mi sarebbe piaciuto se il piccolo flash aggiuntivo avesse avuto la possibilità di scattare in wireless. Faccio molte foto prodotto e sarebbe stato fantastico poter inserire un flash così piccolo direttamente all’interno del prodotto.Per il resto davvero nessuna brutta sorpresa, anzi. Un sacco di funzioni (utili e/o comode) in più ed una bellissima luce, grazie alla testa più ampia.Promosso a pieni voti
