Before owning this flash trigger, I used a Neewer FC-16... which is extremely basic. It's pretty much only capable of being a remote trigger for my camera or my speedlight, and literally nothing else. No High Speed Sync, group support, or anything like that. So I'm still getting used to all the different features and settings for the Godox XPRO II. So far however, I've really enjoyed playing around with it, and I look forward to the point where I'm able to take advantage of all the features.This is my first time having a remote trigger with a screen, so it's been an eye opening experience to say the least. Being able to see my speedlight settings at a quick glance as well as having the ability to change them directly through the trigger has been such a time saver. Changing the power of my speedlight with a simple turn of a dial has been a godsend as well. On my previous remote trigger, just turning it on was kind of annoying because of its tiny power switch. The Godox's switch, on the other hand, is nice and wide and can be easily accessed without the need of a magnifying glass or tweezers.For the most part, I've had no issues with it so far. No misfire or desync yet, so that's been reassuring. If I were to bring up one issue, it would have to be a problem with the packaging. Upon unboxing it for the first time, I noticed that the trigger was not sitting flush with the foam protection. As a result, it had been rubbing up against the bottom of the box lid and got a small scuff on the screen. Apparently, the included battery case that is stored directly under the trigger was preventing it from being seated properly. Luckily, the scuff is mostly located on the upper bezel, and it's really not even noticeable unless it hits the light just right. Still though, it's kind of annoying when I do see it. Even with this one, small issue, I still think it's been a fantastic product, and I can't imagine going back to my old triggers. 5/5 stars

I’ve been using Godox products for several years and this flash trigger for about 2 weeks. This is an upgrade from a Godox T1 trigger. At first the trigger looks intimidating, but once you learned how to use the trigger it is simple. There are many different functions, I only used the trigger on camera with two Godox TT600 off camera flashes which are non-TTL. To make use of all the functions it’s best to use the trigger with a TTL flash. The Group/Channels are listed are on the LED screen, only five appears the other 11 can be access when properly set and then just scroll down using the GR button; there 6 letters and 10 number groups. You set the channel on the menu screen. Here there are 32 channels to choose from, default is channel 21. A nice feature is the Scan feature, with this you can scan the area for the channels with the least interference so you can set the trigger and flash(s) to the best channel. You zoom in on each group to see the setting and adjust as needed. You can set the number of flashes and the Hz for each as well as set the power for the flash to shoot. The cold shoe has an improved quick release lock as the T1 did not. I have not tried to use the trigger with non-Godox receivers/flashes. I am assuming this trigger will work non-Godox receivers as the T1 did as long as the receiver is 2.6 MHz and set with the correct Group/Channel. Bluetooth function is new for their app, you can download the app (Amdroid, Iphone) and control the trigger from the phone. I have not been able to test the trigger when shooting with other photographers using the same studio flashes, I will later this month.There is two things you need to do if you purchase this product. First go online to Godox and download the PDF Manual as the one supply is very small both in size and print. Secondly, go to You Tube as there is a great walk though tutorial by Strobepro that will help you learn to use the trigger.

I am a long time user of the Godox brand. They make some of the best strobes and flashes for the money, in my opinion. So seeing a newly updated trigger for the brand of lights I shoot with mostly, sparked a lot of interest.This trigger is a true and worthy successor over the original Xpro trigger. It features a similar body style to the original, making it feel very familiar. The button layout being just like the original, eliminates the learning curve typically associated with using a new product.This trigger comes with a ton of features that I typically do not use but there are those few that are a game changer when compared to the original. The ability to save presets for studio use is major. I have my main backdrops that clients typically want and having the ability to save my flash settings based on the backdrop I use increases my workflow. No more do I have to play with a light meter or guess at the power level whenever I prep for a shot. I can select the preset and already be in the ballpark and only be concerned about the subjects position.The added Bluetooth functionality is nice. I can make adjustments to my trigger via the app. When I’m locked off on a tripod getting macro and product shots and can’t see my triggers screen without strain, that’s when this feature is important. I’m sure I will find other uses for it in the future.Godox also removed that annoying flappy door that never stayed closed on the original. It did not affect anything of importance on the original other than my nerves, so I was glad to see that addressed. For the most part, I currently use this trigger in the exact same manor as I did the original, until I find ways to incorporate the other added features into my workflow. This trigger works flawlessly on all my Sony camera bodies.

For me coming from a Canon system, I really liked the flash setup and when I jumped ships I really felt like I was leaving a lot on the table. Being able to have an app that I can clearly see what parameters I'm setting makes it a game changer.It did take a bit to setup and figure out key notes that would have helped me:1. Only email registration works2. The 6 digit passcode to pair the trigger is 000000

This trigger seamlessly works with most of the Godox and Flashpoint flashes that support wireless trigger. I have recently used with with Flashpoint Ad1200Pro and Godox Ad400Pro together without any issues.The trigger needs two AA batteries to power up. This trigger currently has compatible versions for Nikon, Sony and Canon. The trigger also has ability to be controlled through the Godox/Flashpoint mobile app.The trigger has a very useful LCD display screen and buttons to set the group, channel, mode and high speed sync. It also has buttons to manually trigger the flash.This trigger is extremely useful for the off camera flash photography as it allows to trigger the flash without any wire and provides the flexibility to place the flash in the desired position for the optimum results. It has a sufficiently long range, which makes it a perfect choice for the Godox/Flashpoint flashes.
