I bought a bunch of these right after getting a new laptop, and I thought the laptop power supply had a problem for months until I read some of the other one-star reviews, describing the same problem I have: the C13 plug does not make a good connection with the device, so if you move the device at all, it makes a crackling noise and the connection goes out briefly. I dug through the cable bin and found the original cable that came with the laptop... lo and behold, the connection is totally stable! I've tried all 3 of the cables I ordered from Amazon, and all have a wonky connection. I think these are going in the bin, and next time I'm going to read the 1-star reviews, even if it's "1%".
