Der Handschuh ist verhältnismäßig dünn aber trotzdem gut gefüttert. Das Tastempfinden ist dadurch auch sehr gut.Die Passform ist gut, jedoch ist mir der Daumen etwas zu lang oder die anderen Finger etwas zu kurz, jenachdem..Er wärmt hervorragend und die Goretex Membran macht ihre Arbeit.Da ich nicht so schnell kalte Hände bekomme, kann ich die Handschuhe aus meiner Sicht ab einer Temperatur von 0°C abwärts empfehlen, zumindest wenn man sich bewegt(Spazieren, wandern,...). Beim Stehen können sie auch bei wärmeren Temperaturen getragen werden, für die Übergangszeit kann ich aber nur die ungefütterte Variante empfehlen.MANKO:Einziges kleines Manko ist der Klettverschluss, dieser hält sehr gut, schon fast zu gut. Wenn man die Lasche exakt auf dem Gegenklett am Handschuh legt, bekommt man den Handschuh (wenn man noch beide an hat) nur erschwert auf. Weiters belastet das den angenähten Klett am Handschuh ebenfalls --> das werden die Nähte nicht ewig mitmachen.Kleiner Tipp: den Klett ein bisschen schräg am Gegenklett auflegen, auch wenn das den inneren Monk anfangs etwas belastet.Langzeitfazit folgt noch!

These would have lasted forever but our dog ate one. Otherwise, they are the best. We ride as long as it is above 25 degrees outside in Indiana. These are the only acceptable glove for winter. They are warm, and the price is actually good because they will never show wear. They are warm forever. The pair that was not eaten are perfect after 5 years, and about 11,000 miles. I will buy the replacement pair now, and keep them from the reach of our dogs (the only thing that can kill these gloves). If you are a serious rider, buy these! Don't waste time trying to make a cheap pair work; that is a waste of time.

measured my hands based on the gore wear websites instructions for their gloves. measured 7.75", which was in the XS or S gloves range. I'm a tall woman with avg hands, as in, I don't have particularly long fingers or chubby hands, but never in my life have I fit anything XS, that's for petit people.... I ordered a small pair,. the palm surface of the glove does not cover the length of my palm. the fingers are a good length, but the thumb is short. Ordered the mediums next, the fingers still fit, the palm is better, not perfect, and the thumb is still short. Sigh. maybe I'll try the large... maybe. There is no way in h-e-double-hockey-sticks that the mediums would fit anyone's hands that measure 8.7" around the widest part, which is what the gorewear website claims.

Looks and feel really good, but as many people already said buy one size up.
